Eligiara

Educational clinical trial information

Eligibility is a checklist, not a verdict.

Eligiara teaches how study eligibility works: how criteria are written, why they differ between studies, and what a “no” usually means. The notes are educational only. We do not screen anyone or decide who can join a study.

Course outline

WeekLessonLength
Week 1What “eligible” meansEligible is a short word with a long list behind it. In research it means a person matches what a particular study was built to look at.6 min
Week 2Age, condition and medicine rulesMost eligibility lists lean on three things: how old someone is, what condition they have or do not have, and what they take. Here is how each tends to be written.7 min
Week 3Hearing “no”Sometimes screening ends with a no. It can feel personal, but the reasons are almost always about design or timing.5 min

Learning outcomes

  1. Reading the criteria Age, condition and history rules, decoded.
  2. Why rules differ Each study asks a different question, so each draws its own line.
  3. A no is not a judgment Eligibility says little about a person and a lot about a design.
