Educational clinical trial information
Eligibility is a checklist, not a verdict.
Eligiara teaches how study eligibility works: how criteria are written, why they differ between studies, and what a “no” usually means. The notes are educational only. We do not screen anyone or decide who can join a study.
Course outline
| Week | Lesson | Length |
|---|---|---|
| Week 1 | What “eligible” meansEligible is a short word with a long list behind it. In research it means a person matches what a particular study was built to look at. | 6 min |
| Week 2 | Age, condition and medicine rulesMost eligibility lists lean on three things: how old someone is, what condition they have or do not have, and what they take. Here is how each tends to be written. | 7 min |
| Week 3 | Hearing “no”Sometimes screening ends with a no. It can feel personal, but the reasons are almost always about design or timing. | 5 min |
Learning outcomes
- Reading the criteria Age, condition and history rules, decoded.
- Why rules differ Each study asks a different question, so each draws its own line.
- A no is not a judgment Eligibility says little about a person and a lot about a design.
